HEAVEN OR HELL

In this life we walk the earth,

Moving on from the time of our birth,

Everything changes, nothing stays the same,

With each new experience the rules seem to change,

From our birth to our death, we have the time in between,

To reach for our goals, and fulfill our dreams.

Not everyone leaves this life fulfilled,

Some lose it all when they turn to the pills,

The drink, the needles, and anything else

They can use to destroy their very good health.

If god had a plan, I can't see what it was,

As the innocent die, and the guilty live.

Is this really what he had in his mind,

When he created all of mankind?

If there is a god, he's a very strange being,

Yet man has faith, and to him they sing,

And they hold on to that faith as their child dies.

How can we know the truth from the lies?

Just a story for those in power to use,

If you don't conform, you can only lose.

Heaven or hell, depends on your faith,

Throughout your life, and at the time of your death,

If you hold on to your faith, then heaven will beckon,

Defy religion, and with the devil you will reckon.

SEED OF LIFE

How can we know where it will lead,

When we sow that tiny seed,

We feel it growing in the depths of our being,

A new life, all knowing, all seeing.

The spirit observes form up above,

Will this life be full of love?

Or of hatred and pain?

Where the spirit must rise once again

To the skies above, in search of peace,

As the body dies, and a mother weeps.

She did her best, what more could she do?

As she turns, she whispers, "I did love you."

Then the tears well up from the depths of her soul,

Where that seed was nurtured, long ago.

A JOURNEY THROUGH LIFE

A journey through life,

That's already written,

There are lessons to learn,

And love to be given.

Be at peace with yourself,

And those around you,

And wish no harm

To those who hurt you.

Be true to your heart,

Let your soul break free,

If your dreams fall apart,

They weren't meant to be.

Be true to yourself,

And don't go astray,

A little patience and time

Will show you the way.

Don't look back with regret

At mistakes that you made,

Just live for the present,

And let the past fade.

No blame and no guilt,

You should just accept,

This journey through life,

And the path that's been set.

ANGEL GUIDE

Just let me tell you how I'd like it to be,

With everyone living in harmony.

Ex- husbands and wives, friends forever,

New lovers with children, happy together.

Just follow your path with your angel guide,

Just let them lead you, and don't try to hide.

They were given to you, at the time of your birth,

They'll always be with you, whilst you are on this earth.

A pre-destined journey that you must follow,

May sometimes cause heartache and sorrow,

The pain will ease and lovers survive,

As long as you listen to your angel guide.
