SPRINGTIME

Snowdrops are blooming,

Hidden under the grass.

Daffodils just rising,

Pushing through en-masse!

Springtime is coming,

The evidence is all around,

Birds sing in the morning,

A beautiful sound!

__

New lambs to the ewes,

Are born every day,

As nature replenishes,

In every way!

__

The fox barks at night,

As he searches for a mate,

The vole scurries around,

Unaware of her fate!

__

The owl takes to the skies,

And cries out with glee!

A tasty vole for dinner,

Just wait and see!

__

So life moves on,

And brown turns to green,

As mother nature reveals,

A beautiful scene!
